Victory is God’s Way
Speak often of God, dear friends. Make His will the center of all that you do.
The world wants us to to forget that simple key to all that is victorious and good. Especially those of us who are in church most Sundays.
I once heard a Christian commentator lament that God could completely remove himself from most churches today and the “organizations” would continue with business as usual. I agree with that observation. It surprises me how many Christian gatherings get around to no mention of our Lord Jesus.
I say now is as a good a time as any to change this sad, frustrating and dangerous state:
Let’s pray before eating, friends — even when we’re not around people from our churches.
Let’s lift our circumstances to God each day.
Let’s be sure God is the focus of the great wise counsel we offer our troubled friends.
Let’s read the Bible, and talk about it on Facebook.
Let’s remember that most of what’s on TV and what most people are talking about has nothing to do with God.
Let’s make sure to mention God in every single conversation with friends
Let’s never miss a chance to teach children about God.
Let’s end all conversations with “May God Bless You!”
And, let’s definitely be sure to ALWAYS count our blessings! (Publicly doesn’t hurt.)
